Sylvia's eyes flashed as they approached the animals. Her nostrils flared as she looked to the doe that was still alive. There wasn't sympathy in her eyes but a wild sort of hunger. She crouched by her own kill, closing its eyes and whispering, "Your spirit is now free." Her eyes darted back to the doe and Sah as he respectfully ended the suffering. She nodded in approval. He was a good hunter. She knew a few who took glory in the suffering and it wasn't her way. She was glad to see it wasn't Sah's either.
"I agree. We should move quickly before dark. Otherwise we'll have more than the scavengers to deal with." A dangerous proposition though it did excite her. She quickly and efficiently took the antlers from the kill, then began skinning and carving what she needed. She'd use the pelt to help wrap the mean and some of the stronger bones with her.
She kept an eye out for some of the bigger predators that could be around while she worked, still ensuring that the three would be safe. "How long have you been hunting friend?" She asked, trying to pass the time not in silence but in companionship.
