Shaye tilts her head slightly, listening as he speaks. To put any tension in the air to rest, however, she decides to cut into a slice of meat and begins to munch away at it as Deimos speaks. He's her guild leader; she'd resigned herself to his leadership and so she has no quarrels with it - out of respect. But Morgan is also her leader, beyond that, in Halo.
She watches him carefully as her jaw works on finishing her most recent bite of bird. "What you're insinuating.." she finally replies once he's made his point, "that I'm letting Halo fall to ruins by not taking action against Morgan... if I were a lesser person, I'd be insulted." Her tone holds no hostility, though her words are direct.
"But I do believe you; that you're speaking from a place of concern, for Halo," she continues, her shoulders visibly relaxing, "I have my own concerns, not necessarily about Morgan... although, I wouldn't doubt that she has her own agenda for doing what she's doing," she considers, "but neutrality seems to have its benefits for Halo as a whole. We would lose our Ascended citizens if we turned our backs to the Voice... Not just Neron but Kiada as well, and others." (as in NPCs because Halo has like 5 citizens total to speak of soz) She sighs, feeling the heaviness of the topic weigh against her very bones, "But with the Voice's power, who's to say they won't be forced to fight? One way or another. And why wouldn't they fight for their lives? Which is understandable but, if half of our citizens are suddenly gone, Halo would be weak, vulnerable... more than it already is." She shakes her head as she casts her green gaze over the fire.
In favor of continuing to be direct rather than beating around the bush, she aligns her gaze back against Deimos' and says, "Let me ask you this. If you and the others with you are to come back to Halo, take leadership there or be given that power somehow in spite of the Ascended... what would your plans be?"
