Follwing her two companions, Lilliane felt at least somewhat reassured by Maeves words, responding with a smile in turn. The same smile was given to Melita as well. "Thanks." She took the dagger, weighing it in her hand for a moment. Not too different from the knife she had used in the past. "How is it dangerous? Will it attack us?" she asked, slightly nervous yet still determined.
When they neared the falls and the mist thickened before them, Lilliane started to keep a closer eye on the surroundings. A short nod followed Melittas statement. Somewhat more cautious, Lilliane followed into the mists slowly. It was in that moment, the mist still thin around her, that she saw movement in the distance. Only for a moment, she saw a creature. Definitely something like a horse, though it was too short to be sure whether it was truly the water horse.
"There! I think I saw something, maybe the horse." she exclaimed in the type of loud whisper people usually do when they want to be heard yet are afraid to be heard by the wrong people. Pointing in the direction where she saw the creature vanish into fog, she then continued on deeper into the fog, towards the place where the creature seemed to have gone.
