“Well, that’s comforting,” she handwaved the aspects, but her eyes went out over the vast bed of nothingness, attempting not to imagine the bloodied vestiges and notions the ruminations created. Fangorn jumped and launched over a series of warmer pockets, before making his way over to her, and she crouched along the chunks, breaking off portions like they were lacquered shells.
Still warm to the touch, her eyes glanced over the obsidian proportions, before placing them in his offered bag. “Enough for a nest. I have to get some ash too at Apopo.” Eventually though, her gaze swept back upwards to her uncle, and something seemed…off, but she couldn’t quite pinpoint what or how or why. Her gilded stare narrowed, not dangerously, but as if she was studying, perusing, thinking. “You seem different. You all right?”
