Finn pours them both wine and corks the bottle again, and reaches up to grab a box of crackers and a wooden board to put everything on. These familiar, domestic movements as well as talk of their son does so much to rub a balm on his sharp edges that he almost feels a laugh bubbling up in the back of his throat. It probably explains why he's turning suddenly to intercept Tobi on her way across the kitchen, easing containers of fruit out of her hands so he can catch her lips in a sudden, warm kiss.
