Fangorn patted the ground again, and the questions remained unceasing. “Safrin is the herald of Vi, and Frey the herald of Rae.” Her eyes glanced back up, pondering the strength and multitude of his question – though rhetorical, and not meant for her. She knew what her place would be. She’d made that promise long ago, perhaps a bit unwittingly, with no thought to what hung in the distance. “I’m all right on the nest. Can I see the drawing?”
