Meh. Agree to disagree on this one, Nate. Having pulled out of the landsharks reach, that still leaves one VID (very important demigod) on the sand, and while she’s sure the Lone Ranger can handle himself, Wessex finds herself irked at the distraction. Focusing on the landshark, she waits until there’s a clean shot before taking it, not wanting to bring friendly-fire into an already less-than-safe situation.

May I suggest we leave this behind and focus on trying to find the deity before you burst into flames? Or let the others find it? she asks dryly, clicking her talons at him to suggest just how they might all travel fast enough to potentially up with with the other group.

----------------

Wessed waits until she has a clean shot at the landshark to fire a feather at it, and suggests they leave it behind to try and catch up with the other group or just give up on the quest entirely.

Mech-Minokawa Ability | Feather shoot

The world is new to you, and you to it. During PQ/PQ+/KQs/Drops, you roll with advantage on luck-based rolls and receive an extra name during drops. (In order to use this, make sure to note the ability at the bottom of each post)

RANDOM EVENT
As Ray soars higher, she'll break the 30ft link between she and Nate, severing his protection of her. As she drops her daggers, they flail towards the sand, flopping somewhere below.

Nate 's arms don't manage to strike the creature given the speed with which it's able to slink through the sand. The dragon for all its newness to the world, actually ends up striking Nate with its biopulse (read: critical fail).

The Wraith manages to hit the landshark with one of her feathers, which causes it to roar furiously. Though it desperately wants to attack Wessex, Nate is the more immediate target. Launching itself at the demigod it misses him once again. Apparently the duo are destined never to hit one another.

However, suddenly the landshark isn't your only problem....

Ray: 76/76
Wessex: 616/616
Nate: 445/500
Ramoth: 50/50

Landshark: 242/300
