At the best of times, Nate doesn’t like the idea of a desert. Considering right now though he’s a vampire in the middle of summer? He fucking hates the thought, and hates it even more when they actually arrive. His entire face pinches as he squints against the brightness of the sun, surveying the area they land in.
“I guess we should follow the plants?” he asks his shifted companions, glancing between them and wincing harder as he tries to find the dark blot of Ray’s shift agaisnt the sky. He doesn’t expect either to shift back, just hopes they can find some way to indicate they agree, or have a thought about which way might be best.
