Well. There are certainly some choices being made here.

As Nate tries to lure the land shark back up, the creature is happy to oblige. Out here in the desert food is scarce, and if a meal is going to ring dinner bells, the shark would be silly not to come when called.

Thrusting through the sand (it’s a good thing Wessex has taken Ray or she’d undoubtably be a goner), the land shark aims an attack for Nate. Silvery teeth catch on the air again, and though the creature misses, it’s by another very small margin. Ramoth’s biopulse misses, and given our timelines, Nate won’t have a chance to retaliate this turn (read: attack at the start of your next turn).

Wessex will only have just gotten to a safe height by the time the creature attacks so she won’t have had time to release her metal feathers just yet. (Read: do it at the start of your next turn).

In the distance something is happening, but given how focused you all are on the land shark it’s hard to make out just what it is.
