The world was beginning to harden into the form it had been taking for years now, the war inching so close he could almost taste their salvation. Gideon's mind thrummed from the moment he woke up to the moment he closed his eyes at night, the possibilities and excitement for what was to come clouding his thoughts of anything else.
While it was a very thrilling way to live, it was not very practical when one had a Temple to run. So, he'd gone for a walk in the Wilds. Something to try and clear his head.
It was unusual to see anyone in the Wilds. Often, one could go for a walk there and be convinced they were the only person in the world. So when Gideon saw the distinct shadow of a man on the horizon, and when he got closer realised it was someone he knew, he was quite surprised. "Deimos!" He called - his route was going to bring him that way anyway, and he'd quite enjoyed their conversation last time. "Fancy seeing you here." As he got closer, stood with his hands on his hips and looked the large man up and down, he grinned in an ever so slightly manic way. "On important business?"
