He began to work on making the rest of the caltrops with the hollow centers for her to fill with her medicines. Glancing up from his work now and then, he glanced between her and Varus as they discussed the possibilities for keeping animals and people away.
Sighing, the potter shrugged one shoulder. "I'm not sure anything we planted would have enough time to grow before..." Voice trailing off, he grimaced. "At least tangleweed is already around here. Also, wouldn't introducing an entirely new species also wreak havoc on the ecosystem?" He arched an eyebrow at the two of them. "So for what it's worth, I vote tangleweed."
