“Oh how kind of you.” Varus rumbles to Amun with a wink, moving to step beside Isla and offer her a hand to help her up from where she’d been working on the caltrops. Once she’s up, he laces his arm through hers and flashes a fanged grin toward Amun as he leans in to whisper to Isla’s ear. “How does he know we won’t get distracted on the way back?” Maybe the room has an infestation of tangleweeds, wouldn’t that be something?
Regardless, alongside Isla the Captain makes his way toward what is hopefully a cluster of tangleweeds, hoping that he might be able to take the brunt of their tangle-attempts with the use of his metal arm. It’s that hand that reaches out to try and corral them to head in the direction they need them to be and hopefully they don’t cling to him all that much in his attempts.
Varus goes with Isla to find a cluster of tangleweeds! Provided they find any, he’ll try to use his metal arm upgrade to keep them from sticking to him in his attempts to corral them.
