It works, until they realise that it's an exceedingly short range solution. Isla smiles a little and glances up to Varus, tilting her head. "Do you think you can keep leading the shark away? I'll try and corral these tangleweeds back to where we're setting things up." They're not actually trying to hurt anything after all. Just... zap it in the opposite direction.
Providing Varus agrees, Isla will turn her attention back to the tangleweeds, engaging her static boost upgrade again (on them, this time), trying to persuade them to keep going in the direction of the caltrops. "Good luck," she tells him, smiling over her shoulder at him.
Isla suggests that Varus lead the landshark away, and uses her static boost upgrade on the tangleweeds to get them to keep moving towards where they've set up the caltrops.
