The mention of Locke ruins the banter as it usually does and while the hurt is short lived as it cuts through her again, bleeding out over their bond as she somehow presses closer to him, clinging like a lifeline as she rides out the pain; it still hurts. Not that it would be possible with the way her arms are wrapped around his neck. ”You have me there.” Maeve murmurs, the corners of her lips twitching up into a smile as she meets his sea glass gaze. ”I quite like who you are too.”
