The jewel-toned colours of sunset held his attention with such an authority that he hardly noticed the mermanta until his feet were already covered by the lapping waves. "Oh." Remi mumbles, both unhelpfully and bashfully. "I did not see you there." He adds, flashing the other man an easy smile.
