Then he froze, tip of the quill hovering over the black liquid. Eventually, though, he dipped it and began writing. Again, time did a weird thing, and he didn't know how long he sat there in silence. He did speak, though he didn't look up from his page as he did. "You know the Order." It wasn't a question. "Why. Why do they want to erase us?"
