key quest

Lightning sizzles between Nate and Amun, hopefully tempering anything that might come the ascended's way. As more rubble is thrown, if any lingering civilians are stupid enough to remain, let's just say they're going to get what's coming to them and then some.

Starbolts rain down from Ronin towards the ascended, striking Amun squarely in the chest. The ascended's circuits as well as Nate's will register the damage as Nate's damage sponge disappears. It's at this point Amun begins to try and move around the Tower. He won't make it even half way, but with his compass activated, he's gone before anything else can happen.

A woman in the crowd becomes a kitsune, rushes towards Nate and seems to disappear, while Doc Oc Nate appears to move towards the entrance to the Tower.
