The false him explodes into stardust, and for a single terrible second Nate has no idea how he feels about that. Then, Wessex will feel the shaking of silent laughter wracking through Nate, a hand clapped over his mouth and squeezing his face tightly to stifle every sound. Not needing breath really is a blessing on occasion.
Still keeping silent, Nate changes direction, creeping closer to the door. Being inside evens the okaying field a little, at least by virtue of the walls, the small area. He’s not sure if it matters, not with whatever tricks Safrin’s specialist boy has up his sleeve, but hopefully it’s worth something.
Nate moves closer and will follow Ronin into the tower at a distance if he goes, moving slowly and telegraphing his movements as much as possible to fox!Wessex. If ronin doesn’t enter the Tower Nate will still approach, but much slower
