It’s almost enough for him to forget about everything else, and for what it’s worth he spends the moment shoving down all of those harsher feelings, latching onto the tendril that Maeve offers and dives in head first. He drowns himself with it, especially once he’s gotten the protection on – quietly thankful for her silence over it. They’ve had this conversation before, and each time Sunjata has chosen to stick with it.
His attention is absorbed by her, steel eyes hooded and dark with desire that close when his teeth find her neck, pulling away slightly as her hands find his chest, a low hum leaving him in a breathy groan as he readjusts the two of them. His magic is long forgotten, though, the water falling away into the sand and along his sunkissed, freckled skin, absorbing slowly into her own where it had run across her pale tattooed skin.
His hands roam along her, finding her hips to offer support as he rocks his hips again ever so slightly, pressing his aching length against her as he noses his way in under her jaw, pressing a kiss there and another small mark to leave behind, before he’s helping her sink down onto him with his teeth still pressed against her throat. It does little to muffle the sound that leaves him, a gruff little shaky inhale of a gasp as he feels her again.
