"What a clever man you are." Tobi says, smiling so widely that the skin on her cheeks felt stretched her with joy. "I'll admit, I sort of love that idea." Tobi with her sled, making her rounds. "What do you think you'll be doing while I am out racing across the tundra?" She asks as casually as she can as if this was just a big hypothetical they were discussing and not their very-near future.
Snorting her agreement, Tobi nods. "I'm sure he'll find his way to Halo with us, and then you can work to keep him out of trouble there." She says of Mateo.
It's as surprising as it isn't, that Finn is the one to neatly put a bow around their plans. Adoringly, Tobi soaks up the moment: the smell of breakfast, the too-clear sounds coming up through the floorboards, the uncomfortable chair, and of course, Finn. Finn in his wrinkled shirt and messy curls. Finn with his ever-changing blue eyes and shy smiles. Finn, whom she absolutely loved and adored.
"I like the sound of that."
