Tal might have been better than an axe than a hammer, but he could set the nails well enough to secure the holds that Deimos handed to him and faster than expected they'd managed to replace the more worn and precarious pieces.

He trotted off to try and find more nails, asking for directions from the older soldiers to find a supply room where he could hopefully grab a fresh can of them to bring back to Deimos for whatever the sword had in mind.
