If the creature within the feathers was an ascended…given what had happened recently, what would he do? Attack? Send back yet another message to Isla? Do nothing at all? None of those seemed like particularly good options, but Remi was no longer the sort of man to simply let things happen around him without his interference. Gliding a touch closer but with enough distance that should the need to suddenly shift come about, the hawk slips himself into a warm thermal and stretches his wings wide.
