Boreal left Belial the undisputed king of the skies; there were more interesting things happening on the ground, and she hadn't yet investigated the unicorn. Her thick tail swept the snow into a smooth arc behind her with a single wag of delight when Zuriel deigned to return her greeting. Pleasantries dispensed with she then ambled back to Tal and looked at him with soulful eyes until he sighed in exasperation and dug a small white-furred rodent out of an outer pocket to toss to her as a reward for good behavior. She snagged the snack out of the air with a single, economic snap of blunt jaws and swallowed it whole with smug contentedness.
"Is she one of the healy ones?" Tal asked with a nod to Zuriel, since they were on the topic of unicorns, and it was always good to know where one stood with a race on the near horizon.
