They had that conversation before, but in an effort to not bring up that whole can of worms so recently after they’d decided to put it behind them, Sunjata hums slightly and nods. “I didn’t. I didn’t want to become my father.” Which was part of that whole conversation they’d had previously – the fear deep down that he’d turn into the person he’d hated the most. “But then Kamaria happened and truthfully? It changed everything.” Even if she didn’t speak to him anymore, even if she’d left to be with Ronin after his allegiance change. It didn’t change the fact that Kamaria was his daughter, that he’d wanted the best for her, to protect her and raise her, but even his word is little against the onslaught of a goddess.
