Priorities

"Hell yeah. Flash. Great horse. ...I hope he's alright." Taken on by a stable hand with plenty of oats and a gentle hand, he hoped. Adam couldn't face the likely reality, that Flash was dirty and lost at the side of the road, wondering where he'd gone. Nate suggesting he take another horse was unintentional salt in his wounds, a reminder that he wasn't going to see his hooved best friend again. "...Maybe, yeah." Skinning animals wasn't the most....glam career, but furs were easy enough to sell. Warm, luxurious...a bit too bulky and covering for Adam's taste, but a required part of many people's wardrobes. "I can do that. Sell your furs." He smiled and rested a hand on his pistol as Nate commented on his shooting. He could get by with a bow and arrow too, though he didn't care much for them. Too slow, too easy to fuck up. His guns had been an upgrade he'd made several years ago and had never gone back from. Now that he had a limited amount of bullets, though....maybe he'd have to make a change. Adam looked about excitedly for the promised dog, planning to scratch it's ears regardless of Nate's warnings.
