At least he was in range now to land a proper hit; he could take a slice out of it and then retreat, he thought with manic rapidity in the heat of the moment, hearing the General's order and figuring he could obey more or less--
Except he was unceremoniously plucked from the sand on a cushion of air before he could manage to get his swing in. There was a brief yelp of protest from the courier before he found himself in range of a spar and he grabbed onto it, pulling himself the rest of the way onto Deimos's platform with a guilty look at his friend and a brief worry that the the big man was somehow reading his mind. "Thanks," he mumbled before leaning over the edge of the platform with his axe ready to smack any leathery snout that leapt into range.
Tal joins Deimos on his platform and readies an attack against any shark that comes in range.
