Taking the rod, he activated his upgrade. It morphed into a knife, then a club, then back to the rod. "I can absolutely make you a weapon, or multiple weapons. Just need access to iron. But that is a conversation and a decision to be made after we've washed up and recovered. Okay?" He shifted the metal back to a knife and held it out to her hilt first.
