As the Rous on his leg dies, Nikolai relaxes. It's embarrassing how much effort that took on his part, but at least it's over. He sends Wessex a sheepish grin, "Probably." Picking up the remaining bodies, the younger Ascended continues to follow Wessex. Nikolai sends a glance back to check on the others and can't help but furrow a brow in confusion. He genuinely has no idea just what is going on back there.
As they walk, Nikolai gives into his curiosity. The walls are old and cracked, and it makes him wonder what secrets they hold. Although he doesn't see any obvious writing, he decides to activate his upgrade. Just in case something is there that they're missing.
