Accepting the plant with no small amount of reverence, Ever pulls up a chair to place it on so that it won't be too close to the window, but still in sunlight. Bundled in their coats and mittens, and with cream cheese, cucumber, and ningo sandwiches at the ready, Ever leads them toward the Greenhouse. 'Snow is one of the most boring forms of precipitation.' He complains on the way. "I think I would like to moor your boat above the jungle. And if I don't see snow for a whole year, I wouldn't complain."
