Trying for a stern glare, it was spoiled by a small and slightly too happy smile that simply wouldn't be suppressed. "If you worry that much about me straying too far away, you could always talk to The Voice. I'm sure she could device some means for us to stay connected, wherever we are." She laughed, and playfully swatted away his hand from her hair.
"No such thing as too many books," came her distracted response, a beat too late. She set a book aside, and picked up the next. "Why not. If you think it has merit, we can talk to them about it." Again, there was a long silence. Not until she had reached the bottom of the chest did she look up again, and looked around the room with a sigh.
"I do admit that it's a lot to go through. Even if there are clues, it's very easy to miss things like this." Rising to stretch her back, she watched Amun struggle with the drawer. "What are you questing for, by the way?" Maybe he had told her already, and she just forgot.
