Scooping up the net, he added a few zaps of his own to take out the remaining wasps. Then he activated his upgrade and sealed the ones inside the metal so they couldn't escape. "It's a quirk of my upgrade. When I'm phasing through an object like wood or stone, my full body is intangible. It's only when I'm fully through that I can partially phase, if that makes sense, and I can't use upgrades stored in my phased body parts." At least, that's what his experimentations had shown so far.
