Frowning at Maea's question, Amun's brow furrowed. Sucking in a breath, he stared into the distance for a few moments. Finally, he nodded. "I...think so." He shrugged the shoulder that wasn't supported.
"Remember how I told you I could recall previous lifetimes? Well, I've never been at war in this lifetime." He paused and grimaced. "But in past lives, yes. Religious wars, wars against monsters, wars for no real purpose at all." Shaking his head, he sighed. "I don't usually look back that far because, well, to be honest, it can get overwhelming. But what I can tell you is that everyone loses in the end."
