Amun pressed his lips together. Still looking at the Temple in the distance and not at Maea, he shook his head. "I wish this war was just a story. That I'd wake up and this was all just a bad dream." His gaze trailed back to her. "With some bright spots, admittedly." Still, he couldn't help but feel his eyes slide towards her bandaged arm.
