It’s a strange combination for Sunjata – acceptance and the feel of Frey’s hands running along all the sensitive spots the Flood has. There’s always so much apprehension beforehand, every time he dealt with Safrin that his gaze widens, some amount of shock and arousal crossing him in a way that seems to shine with a brilliance that relieves the tension in his shoulders far more immediately than anything else has.

A space not unlike what he recalls living before Caido had been, though far older. It’s a good thing he was immensely interested in books when he was growing up.
