Growing up in a family where siblings ranged from Accepted to Abandoned to early-Attuned, ground rules had been laid down long before the baby brother came along. Likewise in lessons and childhood playgroups the etiquette had been clear: don't use magic, or call spirits, or shifted teeth and claws on each other - at least, not without prior agreement and someplace the adults wouldn't see it. Tal had grown up with those lessons his whole life.
But Sah was an Outlander, much like Deimos - something the courier sometimes forgot, until things like this happened.
