I’m not sure why.” She offers quietly, kneeling down into the dirt beside the fire haired girl. As Melita responds to her help, she nods again as if to say “yes, give me something to do.” And she rolls her sleeves up, discarding the gloves she had worn while Auni becomes distracted by the pumpkin.
