Darkeye does his best but unfortunately his dagger misses the mark this round. Maeve fares a little better, at least, and her arrow strikes true, a shiver rippling across Daddy Shark's rubbery hide. Aidon, too, is successful at his little attack, but he's not able to move out of range and attack at the same time. It's lucky that the landshark didn't target him this time around.

It's at this moment that things go to shit. Melita ROLLS A 1 which results in a comedy of errors, and her electrified arrow strikes Evie in the right shoulder, burying deeply into her flesh. By a literal stroke of luck, she's already sliding to the safety(?) of the ground, and her magic allows her to reach the sands without incident.

She is bleeding now though, quite a bit. It doesn't escape Daddy Shark's notice, and he turns to snap at her. It goes wide for now (its size likely works against it), but how long she can stay lucky remains a mystery.
