With Evie out of the way, it was one less thing to worry about. She knew, however, that the Abandon's luck was likely running out. Especially with the Daddy Landshark still hot on her tail. Maeve grits her teeth, torn between having Aidon swoop down for another attack while the shark is distracted, but ultimately decides the risk isn't worth it. Instead she activates her bangle and lines up another shot with her bow. "Keep running, Evie!" Maeve yells out to the other girl before looking to the Honeybee, "Let's kill this thing!"
With that, the Nightshade looses her arrow with intention to kill, jade eyes narrowed against the sun as she shifts further out of Daddy Shark's path. She might want a hit on it, but she's not going to risk becoming shark food either.
Maeve activates her bangle, shoots at the shark with her normal bow, and stays out of the way of Daddy Shark.
