But Melita had never been a woman to simply rest on her laurels, and with Maeve’s warning, and Evie not being shot at for that particular round, things were going…better? Ish? She’d take it.
Distracting the landshark from either Darkeye or the Abandoned was her current priority, especially if their attacks didn’t decimate the beast this go-around. Offering a nod to Maeve, she snagged at another elemental arrow from her quiver, opting for ice this time – feeling the cool plunge of its touch along her fingertips, before notching it along her bow. Much like all its brethren before it, the armament was ready to be released with one deft pluck of the strand, unfurling, attempting, at the very least, to head towards Daddy Landshark.
