There are times when the unseen can be even more dangerous than what our eyes behold
So close, yet so far. Darkeye succeeds in grabbing up the fallen dagger, and Maeve and Melita shoot spectacularly; Daddy Shark lets out a warbling, yet guttural sort of noise which suggests it's pretty much running on empty at this point. But pretty much is not the same as completely and as Evie's throwing knives fall short - oop! - it takes the opportunity to regain the upper hand. Or lower hand, rather.
A creature as truly colossal as this one causes a lot of problems in general, but even more so as it rears up to dive and burrow back beneath the sands. There's no stopping it, and the blast of rock, earth, sand and other debris is deafening and dangerous all rolled into one.
The entire group is close enough to be raked and injured by its attempt to hide, and amid the miniature sandstorm it leaves in its wake, you'll all be feeling a little worse for wear. (Some much more than others).
Out of sight doesn't mean gone, though... What you gonna do?
