Shitshow indeed. Evie rolls as best she can, wincing and shielding her eyes against the grit and sand. When she manages to get back to her knees - too disoriented to fully stand - there’s so much going on that her brain has to rapid-fire plans. Her first instinct is to reach for Darkeye to heal him, but the man is already running, and her aborted yell for him is swallowed into a twisted knot in her throat.
Maeve’s call makes her grit her teeth. Fuck, it’s risky; they’ll have one shot at it, and it will rely entirely upon Evie’s power and Darkeye’s bait abilities. She and Darkeye would be most at risk, and she wouldn’t be able to reveal the landshark and heal one of them at the same time.
“You better not miss!” she yells back; and then, hoping the landshark would be targeting Darkeye as the most wounded, she calls on her magic to tunnel as deep as she can to reveal its fin and back to the bow-wielding women on the surface. Forced to rely on them to protect her and Darkeye.

Evie guesses the landshark will be near Darkeye as the most wounded, and uses her earth magic to tunnel as deep and wide as she can in that area to try and reveal the top of the landshark for Maeve and Melita’s arrows to reach.
Earth Manipulation: Can manipulate the earth. Must be within a 30ft radius. Control is excellent.
