Their plan had been a good one. A smart one. Luck wasn't on their side, however. The Nightshade barely has a moment to react as Daddy Shark makes himself visible again. She yelps, rolling to the side and barely out of the way. The fact that she was almost caught in its toothy maw not lost on her. Getting her feet beneath her, Maeve activates her bangle and makes sure to get herself out of the way of another potential attack. This was all on Melita. Gods be with them. They needed all the luck they could get at this point. "Fucking kill it!"
The queen yells out, knowing if she could rely on anyone to kill this damn thing it would be the Honeybee. Aidon cries out as Maeve runs, swooping closer to her, but making sure to remain out of reach of the shark should it get any ideas to attack him instead.
Maeve activates her Starlight Bangle and makes sure to get out of range of an attack by Daddy Shark.
