Maeve huffs out a breath as the dust settles, turning her gaze towards Melita, gratitude weighing heavy in her chest. "Good shot." And she means it, knowing that if it wasn't for Melita, one or more of them would have been shark bait. Slowly she makes her way over to the group, Evie and Darkeye are both worse for wear, but they're alive. "Glad you two made it out." The Nightshade says as she gathers her loot, giving them both a final nod before following after Melita back towards home.
There was still plenty left for her to do back in Torchline.
