Evie does her best to get a hand on Darkeye to heal him before he goes, but even if she can’t she focuses her magic on herself, knitting up her shoulder as Melita approaches. Dusting herself off and smiling wryly at the younger woman, she waved away the apology with an easy hand. “Of all the people to hit, best it was the one who could heal herself. Thank you for that last hit, too.” Though she can’t help her own grin, chuckling slightly as she recalls the adrenaline fueled shark-surfing. “Maybe we’ll start smaller, yeah? But I think it would be a blast.”
Nodding her goodbye to Maeve, she follows the lead of the others to obtain her own tooth before she heads out, all of them in opposite directions but the two Torchers. Deimos was going to love this story.
