“Ouch.” He responds, playfully hurt and dramatic enough these days to lay a scarred hand over his chest as if she’d wounded him. Though, it’s all in pure fun, as the Flood steps back to let Flora work. It’s uncontrollable and chaotic and Sunjata’s brows rise slightly to see it nosedive into the sand, well away from the target he’s crafted.
Her jest, though, has a snort leaving him as he steps back up to her side, reaching for a stick to hand her and to help guide her in how to throw it. “You can still work with it even if it’s not straight. Just takes a bit more work is all.” He muses, before standing at her side, extending one arm and the water stick in the other, using his nonthrowing hand as a guide. He squints as he finds where the target should go this time, before he speaks. “Try extending your nonthrowing hand and using it as a point to guide. You should release the stick right about even with it and with any luck…” He murmurs as he focuses, sending the water stick flying with concentration to watch as it pelts into the rock at the target’s feet. “It should get you closer to center.” His steel gaze slips down toward her again, a scarred brow raised as if in a playful challenge.
