Isla this won't hurt a bit No. Her face fell into a sad smile, almost one of knowing - of course it would be too much to assume that he would have the faintest idea about where she and her fellow Northaveners had come from. He fidgeted and Isla's hands remained steady, as always, at her sides. The names he mentioned did not ring any bells with her (yet, but she was not in control of time), and she shook her head to Rory. "I don't know them personally," she admitted, "but if they said they were from Northaven I have no reason not to assume they were dropped here along with me." Which was another mystery entirely. Why were they dropped here all together? Did this happen often? Were there other strangers who had appeared in this strange bubble of a place? Isla sighed, glancing back down at the mushrooms she had been about to pick as if wondering whether it might be worth asking Rory about them - she'd figured them to be edible but if he was a native of this place then he might know for sure. But then the conversation turned to the Spire and his warning spilled out into the air between them. She frowned, nodding slowly and reaching up to tuck a lock of hair behind her ear. "...Can you tell me why?" she asked. "If it's dangerous, maybe I can spread the word to the rest of my people, make sure everyone stays away. And you have a sister?" A more geniune smile flickered across her face at that; perhaps it was the normality of family in an otherwise otherwordly place, but the notion comforted her somewhat. "If you need anything... well, we're hardly in a position to give away supplies or anything. But I'm a doctor and I'll be happy to help if you need."
