But she broke off again; no need to add more to his burdens, they were heavy enough already. "Is there... I have some time, so if you need help with anything, I'd be happy to lend a hand." What else could she say, what could she do? A hug, a par on the shoulder, empty words that made no difference? From what Maea had understood Phoebe already provided for that, and it was just as well because the blonde goddess of a girl seemed better at it than herself. All Maea could do was offer what she had of time and hands and understanding, and hope that it would be enough. It had to be.
