She was roughly the size of a large kitten, which seemed appropriate given the snow leopard conformation of her body and rear half, and had a kitten's plumpness still, as well as a hatchling's downy feathers on her wings - though that was starting to change as fledgling feathers began to sprout. Jigano's lips curved into a small smile as he felt her intense curiosity towards this new person her companion called 'friend' but she sensed her human's mischief, too, as he waited for Caiside to be the one to put words to his distracted curiosity.

"Medicinal plants and herbs, mostly," he explained. "Snow moss, for cooling fevers and swelling, and feverfew and chamomile as well. Marigolds and meadowsweet, for digestion and ulcers, and motherwort for headaches and strains. Coneflowers for warding off sickness, white basil for coughs, and stinging nettles for arthritis. Wild bergamot and mint, too. And I brought seeds from the trees in the Glade, to see if I could get them to grow..."
