And as she lifted the shovel again to try and break through the roots, she eyed the raven out of the corner of her eye. “You could stay awhile.” She began, turning her head back to the stunning raven. “Maybe help a girl out too?” It was sarcasm that laced her voice before she laughed to herself. She was talking to a bird, and he’d likely not understand. Perhaps despite her voice returning to normal and the glamour in place, she was going crazy. She sat back on her legs again and looked back to the raven with a small cheesy grin.
