Evie manages a single startled shriek before she’s swept up in it, knocked forward into the depths of the water and ruining her plan of keeping her hair dry. Popping back up above the surface with a splutter, blue eyes spark as they narrow on Deimos, electric and bright with challenge. “Oh you’re gonna get it,” she vows, lips trembling with the desire to grin and break her attempt at a threatening scowl.
With how the wave knocked her closer, she jumps off the bottom of the pool to lunge for him, aiming for his broad shoulders to get purchase on with her wet hands to try and dunk him.
